Introduction

The course provides a wide rang to the internal audit role, purpose and practice, Internal Audit Standards & Code of Ethics, and is designed for those whose career is in internal audit and for managers and audit committee members who require an high level understanding to the methodology of internal audit.    

Also for individuals conducting internal audits or managing an internal audit programme. Assessments are conducted as part of the course.  It is designed to provide auditors and prospective auditors with the skills and confidence to carry out auditing activities in a professional and technically correct manner

Course Methodology

The course uses self-assessments and a wide mix of business cases that promote healthy discussions around the importance of managing multiple tasks, deadlines and priorities. Participants will benefit from role plays covering workplace challenges related to handling tasks, deadlines and priorities. They will learn how to deal with conflicts that may arise as a result. Interactive team exercises are also used with each team presenting their findings and comments.
