Introduction
The drainage construction team is responsible for the proper setting out, excavation, pipe laying and back filling of drainage trenches. Suitable compaction techniques are important if rework associated with settlement is to be avoided.
The team members should have a good knowledge of various types of pipes, jointing systems and a good knowledge of materials suitable for both bedding and backfilling.
The course attempts to highlight the aspects of construction that will have a significant effect on the quality of the finished product.
The quality control and quality assurance system are the organizational structure, responsibilities, procedures, processes and resources for implementing quality management. The quality system has to control what is produced to make sure it meets the requirements of the client and, secondly, it has to provide confidence or assurance is needed by both the contractor and the client in this course Quality Control and Quality Assurance system for drainage project is developed.
On completion of this course participants will
